PHPRunner is a very complete out of the box web application generator. There is not much in the market as complete and easy to use generator. I use PHPRunner for more than 10 years now. Support is also great and very professional, fast and helpfull. The installation on Windows and Mac is easy. The integration with other applications like Azure is very easy. While PHPRunner is a strong platform, there are opportunities for enhancement. Improved portability of application components between projects would be highly valuable - specifically, the ability to reuse events and form elements across multiple projects.

PHPRunner has consistently and reliably allowed me to create multiple web based CRUD applications that scale and have great speed. The application is used to generate and create each application as such the cost of each additional application beyond the first one is free and there is zero lock in of all applications created. I personally like to pay an annual fee but I know that all my applications created will still work indefinitely should I stop my subscription. They don't force you to host with them once the application has been created and you can deploy your created applications anywhere. As a result there is very minimal lock in. It comes with scaffolding that makes two factor authentication and if you choose their php product you can host this on any shared hosing cpanel cloud hoster making it extremely flexible. I have been using PHPRunner for many years and am currently using version 11.2 and eagerly awaiting the next version. I like the simplicity of use and yet complexity it offers for applications.

It is feature rich with plenty of useful features and addins. The number of templates available is also a reason that I use it.

I have been using PHPRunner for 10+ years now. We are a general contractor for building new homes. It allows us to easily manage interactive portals for all of our trade partners and customers while integrated seamlessly with our in-house MySQL database. Implementing it took very little time - I did not need to know any code. It actually helped me learn some code as I became more familliar with it. The team is very responsive to all of the support questions/issues I have had. Encouraging that they continue releasing new versions (with lots of enhancements/improvements) - meaning this will be a tool we'll be able to use for many many years! There are sometimes elements on a page that you do not know exactly what they will look like in a web browser until building out the pages. The Style page helps a bit. I’ve been using PHPRunner since version 5.1. It’s my favorite tool for building web, database-driven applications, and I’ve created numerous apps with PHPR, including some that I provide as SaaS solutions.

What I really like is how it helps generate CRUD database applications and takes care of the add/edit/view/import/export forms. It also has a strong PHP backend, which lets me extend it with custom code at every stage of working with a record. In later versions, there’s a solid JS API as well. Stable, easy to use, secure, and customizable.

I’ve been using PHPRunner for the past 10 years, starting with PHPRunner version 6 and continuing through version 11.2, which I’m currently using. During that time, I’ve built more than 20 projects with PHPRunner.

For me, it’s the best tool I’ve used for software development on a low-code/no-code platform.

It supports integrations with built in features and via rest API also.

The implementation is super easy and fast, both the setup and deployment.

Prior to purchasing PHPRunner Version 1, I spent a ton of money on apps that mostly did not work. When they did work, the screens produced were confusing and hard on the eyes. Support was non-existent. For 2+ decades, PHPRunner has provided an an excellent app. New features are often added. "Quality, Support, Price — Pick Two" is a common marketing mantra. Corel's WordPerfect easily creates complex forms like the HUD or any tax form. The only item on my wish list would be merging data from PHPRunner into a WordPerfect form. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use PHPRunner for developing web-based applications and appreciate its ability to create applications rapidly. It's great that it works on Windows, MacOS, and Linux. I like its speed and how it saves a lot of development time. I have been using PHPRunner for approximately 20 years and have developed many large scale complex applications, as well as smaller apps using the off-the-shelf templates. It is constantly updated with new features. It has undoubtably saved me thousands of hours of coding time, and likely tens of thousands of pounds/dollars in not having to pay a coder to do this for me. PHPRunner's enhanced encryption and security features are far more powerful than other programs of similar type and I appreciate how seriously Xlinesoft has taken security in developing the app. The various templates are superb, providing a solid starting point. I enjoy the inclusion of AnyChart, which allows data to be displayed dynamically and in a visually pleasing way. I like that my code development stays on my machine, not on a cloud platform with expensive subscriptions. The customer support by Sergey is fast, helpful, and pragmatic, even for someone who isn't a coder, and the lively support forums create a real sense of community. The use of APIs and the ability to connect to multiple database types on different server types are essential features for me. I don't dislike anything about PHPRunner. However, I'd really like to see more themes and a greater ability to customize these with newer versions of bootstrap. I'd also like to see greater use of AnyChart, such as a wider variety of the many charts it has to offer. To date, I have had to manually code many of the charts I wanted to use that aren't included in PHPRunner as standard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been a customer of PHPRunner for about 19 years.

What I like most is how quickly it can turn a database into a fully functional web application without requiring extensive hand-coding. For someone who works with databases, reporting, or internal business tools, it can save an enormous amount of development time.

Another major strength is the user community and blog/forum group. There is almost always someone willing to help when you run into questions. When it comes to more complicated coding additions, the admins and experienced users may not always provide a complete step-by-step solution, but they will point you in the right direction — what we often jokingly call “inspiration.” That guidance is usually enough to help solve the problem.

And if you still can't get something working, people are willing to help you work through it. In many cases, they not only help solve the issue but also help you become a better coder in the process.
